How quickly can you start?
After a short discovery call we agree scope and the engagement model, and we can usually start soon after. Tell us your timeline and we will be upfront about availability.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. All code, infrastructure-as-code and documentation we produce for you belongs to you.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before we look at your code or architecture.
How do you handle time zones?
We work from India and plan our day around a fixed overlap window with your team for stand-ups, reviews and pairing. Everything else is async in your tools, with written updates so nothing gets lost.
Can you work inside our existing team and tools?
Yes. We work in your GitHub or GitLab, your issue tracker, your Slack and your cloud accounts, following your code review and deployment process.
How much does it cost?
Most clients start with a one-week discovery and technical audit at a fixed $1,500, credited in full against the first month if you continue. After that, hourly work starts from $45 an hour (minimum 20 hours a month) and a dedicated full-time senior engineer starts from $6,000 a month with two weeks' notice. Fixed-scope projects and multi-engineer teams are quoted in writing after discovery.
What if it is not working out?
There is no long-term lock-in. Monthly engagements can be ended with two weeks' notice, and everything we have built, documented or configured stays with you.
Do you take on legacy Rails apps?
Yes. Older Rails apps that need upgrades, test coverage and performance work are a core part of what we do. We prefer incremental upgrades over risky rewrites.
